Job description
Our client is currently seeking a Streetworks Coordinator to join their team in the London Borough. This contractual role is pivotal in ensuring that streetworks activities are conducted efficiently and in accordance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinating streetworks activities to ensure compliance with statutory requirements
2. Conducting thorough inspections of streetworks sites
3. Liaising with contractors to ensure all works meet the required standards and timelines
4. Maintaining accurate records of inspections and streetworks activities
5. Reporting any non-compliance issues and following up on corrective actions
6. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations
7. Providing guidance and support to contractors and colleagues on streetworks regulations
8. Ensuring health and safety protocols are adhered to at all times
Job Requirements:
9. Experience in coordinating and inspecting streetworks activities
10. Strong understanding of streetworks regulations and compliance requirements
11. Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills
12. Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, stakeholders, and team members
13. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
14. Knowledge of health and safety standards within the streetworks domain
15. Relevant qualifications or certifications in streetworks coordination (preferred)
