The Regional Executive Director (RED) – EMEA is a key member of PrimeGlobal’s Executive Management Team (EMT), sharing collective responsibility for leading the association, delivering the global strategy, and achieving agreed targets. This senior leadership role provides strategic and operational direction across the EMEA region, ensuring the relevance, engagement, and growth of PrimeGlobal’s member firms.
In line with PrimeGlobal’s ambitious 2030 strategy, the RED – EMEA focuses on supporting and recruiting firms with a broad range of advisory capabilities, expanding beyond PrimeGlobal’s traditional base of audit, tax, and accounting. A core responsibility is to identify and shape collaboration opportunities among member firms, serving as a catalyst for impactful partnerships. The RED also plays a critical role in empowering the next generation of leaders, ensuring their meaningful and visible engagement in governance and programming.
Each year, the EMT works toward a balanced scorecard of integrated targets, covering recruitment, financial performance, satisfaction, and engagement indicators. The EMT is collectively accountable for achieving these goals, with each member also holding individual targets aligned to their specific responsibilities.
Member Representation
The EMEA region is structured into subregions—Nordic-Baltic, United Kingdom & Ireland, Benelux, Germany/Austria/Switzerland & Liechtenstein, France, Southern Europe, Central Europe, Middle East & North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa—each represented by elected members serving on the EMEA Regional Council. These Council members play an essential role in supporting and guiding the RED – EMEA in the implementation of PrimeGlobal’s strategy and activities across the region.
The RED – EMEA works closely with Council members to champion PrimeGlobal across all subregions—strengthening engagement, visibility, and alignment with strategic priorities. Council members serve as advocates and sounding boards, providing valuable member feedback and helping shape regional priorities aligned with PrimeGlobal’s annual planning cycle. The RED ensures strong relationships are maintained with Council members and that succession is thoughtfully managed.
The RED – EMEA oversees the Member Manager, EMEA, who holds responsibility for the United Kingdom & Ireland and Central Europe subregions, as well as supporting referrals and Communities of Practice. The RED works in close partnership with the manager to ensure their efforts are strategically aligned and deliver maximum impact. The Member Manager occasionally supports the RED for recruitment activities. In addition, the RED collaborates with the wider PrimeGlobal team to ensure that regional needs are supported effectively—across communications, insights, events, and member services.
