I am currently supporting a client of mine who are looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. This is a generalist role but with a significant emphasis on employee relations. Working as part of a high performing people team you will take responsibility for the following:
Managing employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, sickness absence, and capability
Conducting investigations, preparing documentation, and guiding managers through ER processes, ensuring compliance with employment law, company policies and best practice
Providing day to day support to Line Managers
Coaching Managers on effective people management and having difficult conversations
Supporting early conflict resolution through mediation and proactive interventions
Monitoring and reporting on ER trends
Reviewing and updating HR policies in line with legislative changes
Supporting with absence management, occupational health referrals, and return-to-work plans
Contributing to wellbeing initiatives
Assisting with HR audits, reporting, and improvement projects
Representing HR at relevant meetings
The successful candidate will be a confident HR professional with strong ER experience and a proven track record in building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively are also essential skills for this role.
