Job Description: Security Professional at His Majesty’s Court & Tribunal Service
A key member of the Operational team responsible for managing a team of Security Officers to ensure the highest level of security and safety of both customer buildings and personnel is met.
We are recruiting a Security Professional based on site at His Majesty’s Court & Tribunal Service building. No experience is required as full training is provided, just a positive customer service approach to everything you do.
You will effectively supervise on a day-to-day basis the operation of the security team, ensuring that an exceptional end-to-end service is provided as per contract requirements. You will ensure that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and all relevant legislation is adhered to. Your day will consist of delivering unrivalled customer service in the meeting and greeting of all Court users within a unique environment, while monitoring and securing the building. You will be working Monday to Friday, with set hours per week, offering flexible and part-time hours if required. There is no weekend or night work, but overtime may be available on Saturday, Sunday, and Bank holidays. Weekend overtime is paid at 1.5x for Saturdays and 2x for Sundays, with weekday overtime outside normal court hours also paid at 1.5x.

Main Duties:
* Supervising the security team, providing exceptional first-line manned guarding to the contract
* Ensuring all duties are carried out honestly, ethically, and professionally
* Providing excellent service to staff and visitors
* Being a point of contact for emergency situations
* Operating and controlling the CCTV system
* Conducting regular patrols and maintaining standards
* Providing duty manager cover on weekends on rotation
* Managing team rotas and systems like Timegate
* Ensuring compliance with legislation such as H&S, SIA Licensing, and Risk Assessments
Candidate Requirements:
* SIA License (Door Supervision) - essential
* Understanding of a Manned Guarding environment
