This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to play a key role in shaping the financial structure of a newly acquired business and supporting its integration into a larger, established group. The Opportunity
This is not a “business as usual” role.
You will:
* Support the business through a key acquisition and integration phase
* Build and implement robust financial processes and reporting frameworks
* Deliver meaningful insights to support commercial decision‑making
* Work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Group Financial Controller and operational leadership
Key Responsibilities
* Provide hands‑on accounting support throughout the acquisition process
* Establish weekly sales and margin reporting aligned to group standards
* Prepare and develop monthly management accounts, including KPI reporting
* Implement and improve month‑end close processes (journals, accruals, prepayments, cut‑off)
* Review and enhance financial controls, policies, and procedures
* Collaborate with on‑site teams to embed best practice and improve processes
* Support the integration of the acquired entity into group reporting
About You
* Experienced Management Accountant (or similar) with strong technical grounding
* ACCA / CIMA qualified preferred, but strong QBE candidates with relevant experience will absolutely be considered
* Proven experience implementing processes and improving reporting structures
* Exposure to acquisitions, integrations, or fast‑paced environments is highly advantageous
* Confident working in a hands‑on, evolving business
* Strong communicator, able to build relationships across finance and operations
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is beneficial
