ABOUT THE ROLE
About the Role
As Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple construction projects—primarily bespoke country homes—from pre-start through to final handover. You will be responsible for managing site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget.
This is a key leadership role, requiring strong communication skills, a practical mindset, and an unwavering commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage several construction sites simultaneously, ensuring consistency and high standards
2. Coordinate project planning, resourcing, and programming alongside senior management
3. Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with health & safety regulations
4. Build strong working relationships with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
5. Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and ensure resolution of any issues
6. Manage budgets, site reporting, and cost control measures in collaboration with the commercial team
7. Represent the company’s values and maintain professional standards throughout all stages of the build
REQUIREMENTS
About You
8. Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager within high-end residential construction
9. Exceptional knowledge of building methods, regulations, and best practices
10. Strong leadership and people management skills
11. Excellent organisational and communication abilities
12. A keen eye for detail and passion for delivering outstanding craftsmanship
13. Full UK driving licence
14. SMSTS and First Aid certifications preferred
