o B1 License: £600 per year
o C1 License: £2,400 per year (C1 holders must drive 6 cell vehicles).

Working Conditions
We operate 24/6, and flexibility is key! You’ll cover various early and late shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. While your schedule will be provided 12 weeks in advance, be prepared for unpredictable finishing times and the possibility of working beyond your scheduled hours. This ensures you have the flexibility to enjoy meaningful time off.
About the Role
As a PCO, you’ll be part of a crew responsible for safe and secure court transportation and custody services. Your duties will include:
* Starting your day with briefings to receive assignments and details on detainees.
* Checking handheld devices for schedules and prisoner information.
* Collecting prisoners from various locations and ensuring their well-being during transport.
* Monitoring welfare during transport and providing necessary comfort stops.
* Handling inter-prison transfers and returning to the vehicle base for end-of-use checks.
What You Need to Succeed

* A current driver's license, B1 or C1 License (valid CPC card desirable).

* Meticulous attention to detail in following protocols and completing paperwork.
* Physical fitness to perform duties, including restraining detainees when necessary.

Additional Information
All roles are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and offers are subject to Ministry of Justice Enhanced Level 2 checks. This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship under current UK Home Office rules.
