The Role: We are recruiting for a Maths & English Tutor to deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills and GCSE Maths & English lessons. This role involves supporting learners to achieve their full potential in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to learners’ needs.
* Assess progress and provide personalised feedback to support achievement.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Support learners with additional needs and barriers to learning.
* Track learner progress and implement interventions when needed.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
* Adhere to safeguarding, equality, and health and safety policies.
Qualifications & Skills
* Teaching qualifications and experience in Functional Skills and GCSE Maths & English.
* Ability to engage and motivate learners, including those who are disengaged.
* Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
* Experience working in challenging learning environments.
* Commitment to professional development and teamwork.
* Flexibility to work across different locations.
Due to the nature of this role, you be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
