Responsibility
1. Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness
2. Demonstrate our elevated ways of working always
3. Lead national focuses & incentives like #WORKOUTWEDNESDAY & in-gym challenges / events
4. Advocate for our member onboarding program, MOVE. Leading by example in this area and supporting, and training the wider team to improve confidence and delivery
5. Recruit, train & develop Fitness Coaches & Personal Trainers
6. Ownership of group training timetables, monitoring performance, and optimising to grow engagement while delivering within budget and delivery of your own on shift classes
7. Big focus on driving new member sales and retaining existing members to grow live member movement
8. Supporting the wider team by driving all revenue lines from membership sales to product & secondary, to drive profitability
9. Lead by example on reception and the gym floor in this member facing role designed to enhance every visit
10. Willing and able to deliver honest, constructive feedback regularly to support all team members in achieving their potential and challenging them on a daily basis
11. Support the General Manager and wider team with any operational tasks necessary to ensure the business operates correctly, including Health & Safety, Facilities, Maintenance, Recruitment, and various others like seal checker, kronos and branch scheduler etc.
12. Be resilient and agile to react to challenging situations and find solutions
13. Deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times whenever in the gym
14. Overall accountability for equipment care, basic maintenance & logging issues through ARMs swiftly & to a high standard
15. Actively engaging with our Fitness Development Managers & the wider fitness manager network
Qualifications
Need to have
16. Passion for health, fitness and wellness
17. Level 3 fitness qualification or CIMSPA ‘Practioner’ level equivalent
18. Strong leadership qualities
19. Experienced delivery of a variety of group training modalities
20. Knowledge of rising fitness trends within the industry
21. Adaptability in communication and management style to motivate and inspire the team
22. A positive, solutions driven mindset in the face of adversity
23. A member champion mentality with exceptional interpersonal skills
24. Driven and ambitious with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role
25. Flexibility in working hours and location to support the needs of the business including weekends and Bank Holidays when required
