We're looking for a Cleaner to join our team based in Heathcote School.
Location: Heathcote School
Hours: 12.5 hours per week (morning or afternoon)

Join our Facilities Management team at Heathcote School as a Cleaner. This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a supportive team where your contribution makes a real difference to the school environment. Working closely with your cleaning supervisor, you'll help maintain high standards of cleanliness and create a welcoming space for students and staff.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team, supporting them in maintaining excellent cleanliness standards throughout the school. Your day-to-day will include:
* Cleaning and maintaining all areas including classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal spaces to a high standard
* Vacuuming carpeted areas and wet mopping hard floors, ensuring surfaces are spotless
* Emptying bins, replenishing consumables such as hand soap and towels, and managing waste disposal correctly
* Following COSHH guidelines and health and safety procedures, using appropriate PPE and colour-coded equipment
* Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns promptly to your supervisor
What are we looking for?
This role of Cleaner is great for you if:
* You have previous cleaning experience, ideally in a school, office or commercial environment
* You understand health and safety practices, including COSHH regulations and the safe use of cleaning equipment
* You're reliable, thorough and take pride in delivering high-quality results
* You can work independently whilst being a supportive team member
* You're comfortable following cleaning schedules and maintaining attention to detail
