We're working with a growing Birmingham-based creative agency who are looking for an experienced Head of Social to lead their social media offering end to end.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who loves shaping strategy, creating standout content, and developing people.
The Role:
As Head of Social, you'll take ownership of the agency's social media function, leading both strategy and execution across multiple clients.
You will:
* Lead and develop a team of social media executives and creators
* Own social media strategy across key client accounts
* Oversee content planning, creation, and publishing across platforms
* Ensure campaigns are insight-led, on-brand, and performance-focused
* Act as the senior social contact for clients, presenting ideas and results
* Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and content innovation
About You
You'll be someone who combines strategic thinking with strong people management skills.
Ideally, you'll have:
1. Proven experience in a senior social media role (agency experience preferred)
2. Experience managing and mentoring a team
3. A strong understanding of social strategy, content, and performance
4. Confidence leading client conversations and pitching ideas
