Job Type: Term-time only, Permanent
School: Woldgate School and Sixth Form College
Information: NJC SCP 21 £32,115 to SCP 25 £35,235 (this will be pro-rota for term time only working plus 10 days)
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term time only plus 10 days.

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated People and Culture Lead to join our team at Woldgate School, part of the Wonder Learning Partnership. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the working environment and wellbeing of staff across our Trust schools.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage day-to-day personnel administration within the school.
2. Support staff wellbeing and absence management.
3. Oversee recruitment processes, ensuring compliance with Safer Recruitment guidance.
4. Manage pre-employment checks, DBS updates, and the Single Central Record.
5. Coordinate staff induction, performance management, and workforce census.
6. Ensure accurate updates to Trust personnel and payroll systems.
7. Provide reports to the Local Governing Committee and support school-level HR actions.
8. Oversee employee casework within school to ensure compliance with Trust people policies.
Person Specification
Essential:
9. 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
10. Proven experience in staff management, recruitment, and performance processes.
11. Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
12. High level of ICT proficiency and experience with management information systems.
13. Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
14. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Desirable:
15. Experience in a HR function or within a school environment.
16. Familiarity with SIMS or other school MI systems.
17. Accredited safeguarding training and understanding of statutory requirements.
