Your Role as DT Teacher:
πΉ Deliver Inspiring Lessons β Teach a variety of DT topics, including product design, engineering, and materials technology.
πΉ Foster Practical Skills β Guide students through hands-on projects, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.
πΉ Assess and Monitor Progress β Provide constructive feedback to help students develop their technical and creative skills.
πΉ Collaborate with Colleagues β Work with other departments to create cross-curricular opportunities for students.
Who Weβre Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching design technology, preferably in an independent school setting.

Passionate About DT β A genuine passion for design and technology with the ability to inspire students to develop practical and creative skills.

Creative & Hands-On β A practical approach to teaching that encourages students to learn through hands-on projects.
β
Skilled in Multiple Disciplines β A solid background in areas such as product design, engineering, and digital technologies, with the ability to teach across various disciplines.
β
Empathetic & Supportive β A patient and understanding approach to teaching, supporting students of varying abilities.
β
Strong Communication Skills β The ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to support student development.
β
An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
