Working Hours & Salary

* 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday (09:00‑13:00 and 14:00‑18:00). Branch closes for lunch and does not open weekends.
Overview
Rowlands Pharmacy is looking for a dedicated, patient‑focused Pharmacist to lead a team and make a difference in the community. The Wrose branch is staffed by 5 experienced members (1 Non‑Pharm manager, 3 healthcare professionals, 1 ACPT and a trainee ACPT) and dispenses around 8,000 items per month beside a doctor’s surgery.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage day‑to‑day pharmacy operations, ensuring exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance.
* Oversee a dedicated team, providing guidance, support, and training.
* Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, complying with all legal and ethical guidelines.
* Provide medication counselling, answer patient questions, and address concerns.
* Collaborate with doctors, nurses and other health professionals to optimise patient care.
* Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe, effective medication management.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
* Provide immunisation services where applicable.
* Offer advice on over‑the‑counter medications and healthcare products.
* Actively participate in health promotion and public‑health initiatives.
What We Require
* Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends.
* Flexible and positive approach to problem‑solving.
