This role is perfect for someone with experience in education, youth work, or community support, who is committed to making a real difference in students' lives.

This inclusive 11–18 school is known for its strong sense of community and commitment to student wellbeing. The pastoral team plays a key role in school life, ensuring that every student feels supported, valued, and ready to achieve their full potential. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where staff are encouraged to grow and students are inspired to succeed.

About The Role:
As a Pastoral and Inclusion Support Officer, you’ll:

* Observe, support, and monitor targeted students to ensure positive progress.
* Liaise with the Attendance Team and Wellbeing Lead to provide joined-up support.
* Manage and follow up on sanctions, rewards, and student attendance.
* Facilitate conflict resolution meetings between staff and students when required.
* Organise and manage work for students who are absent or excluded.
* Support the smooth running of the Pastoral and Inclusion system, stepping in where needed to maintain consistency.

What the School Offers:

* A nurturing environment that prioritises student wellbeing and inclusion.
* Strong support from senior leadership and pastoral leaders.
* Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
* A collaborative staff culture that values each team member's contribution.
* Modern facilities with excellent resources to support student engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

* Someone with experience in education, youth work, or community engagement.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
* A proactive and flexible approach, with strong organisational skills.
* A commitment to student welfare, equality, and inclusion.

Why Work with Protocol Education?

* Competitive pay through PAYE – no umbrella companies.
* Consistent work opportunities and long-term roles.
* Free access to CPD, including behaviour management and safeguarding.
* Regular social events and termly recognition awards.
* Ongoing, honest support from our experienced team.

If you’re ready to support young people in achieving their best and contribute to a caring, inclusive school community, we’d love to hear from you.
