In parallel, the Group Data Office is responsible for maintaining a complex legacy data landscape that continues to run the bank today. This PO will play a key part in helping OSB design and deliver a data strategy that will drive value through innovation and creation of data products, as well as supporting the delivery of Transformation The Lead Product Owner (Data) is responsible for defining and delivering the data product strategy, ensuring data is managed and leveraged effectively deliver value, support business performance, regulatory requirements and customer outcomes. This role leads the development of data products across platforms, services, reporting and selected analytics and AI capabilities, ensuring alignment between business priorities and technology delivery. A key focus is on embedding strong data management practices, ensuring that data is accurate, trusted, well-governed and usable across systems. Your responsibilities will include… Defining and owning the Data Product Strategy ensuring this is aligned to business priorities and transformation objectives, whilst being considerate of priorities based on business value, risk and delivery feasibility Owning the end-to-end lifecycle of data products from ideation through to delivery of scalable, reliable and reusable data products Translating business needs into a clear and prioritised product roadmap with defined outcomes and success measures Embedding strong data management practices Working with data owners and stewards to ensure clear accountability for data definitions, standards and usage, along with alignment to data governance frameworks and policies Partnering with stakeholders round the Group as a key point of contact for data-related demand, ensuring alignment between business needs and delivery Collaborating effectively with Data Engineering and Architecture teams to shape effective solutions with existing systems, platforms and architectural standards Defining and tracking KPI’s as well as performance metrics whilst monitoring usage, performance and data quality to identify opportunities for improvement Leading and developing a high-performing team of Business Analysts and Product Owners Foster a supportive culture where people perform at their best; by leading with curiosity, coaching colleagues to grow, and demonstrating OSB’s leadership daily Travelling between London, Chatham in Kent and Wolverhampton from time to time We offer a competitive base salary depending on experience from £120,000 and a competitive benefits package including: Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 50% 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays Contributory pension (8% employer 5% employee) Life Assurance (4x salary) plus Group Income Protection Access to Private Medical Insurance and Medical Cash Plan Please use this link to see the fantastic benefits available at OSB: OSB Careers At OSB Group, we understand how much our people bring to our organisation, which is why we try our best to give back too!
