Assistant Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the Maintenance Manager in ensuring our hotel's facilities are safe, efficient, and fully operational. This hands-on role combines supervision of the maintenance team with active involvement in day-to-day maintenance and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations.
* Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance across all hotel facilities.
* Support compliance with health, safety, and statutory requirements.
* Manage contractors on-site and maintain accurate maintenance records.
* Deputise for the Maintenance Manager as required.
* Assist with stock control, small purchases, and departmental reporting.
* Respond to guest and departmental maintenance requests professionally and promptly.
What we're looking for:
* Experience in hotel or facilities maintenance, including supervisory responsibility.
* Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
* Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Hands-on, proactive, and able to support and lead a small team.
