Job Description
The key responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer - Nightshift role are:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment during night shifts.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
* Follow planned preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
* Collaborate with the production team to address any equipment-related issues.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
* Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to maintain productivity.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Engineer - Nightshift worker should have:
* Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
* Experience in maintaining machinery within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently during night shifts.
* Commitment to adhering to health and safety standards.
* Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
* MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF:
* What an injection moulding machine is and does.
* Have an understanding of what Chillers, Compressors, Material Systems are.
* HVAC System Pressure.
