Your NewpanyHays are working with a respected organisation who are seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Lead to support its senior finance team during a period of strategic planning and organisational development. Your New RoleAs the Interim FP&A Lead, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the organisation’s financial planning capability. You will take responsibility for:Financial Planning & Business Modelling
1. Leading the preparation of accurate, timely financial and business plans.
2. Developing long‑term financial models, sensitivity analyses, and scenario planning tools.
3. Producing high‑quality insight to support senior decision‑making and long‑term sustainability.
Cashflow & Financial Insight
4. Overseeing cashflow forecasting, liquidity monitoring and future funding requirements.
5. Providing clear, data‑driven insight to inform strategic conversations and resource allocation.
Controls,ernance & Reporting
6. Ensuring financial records and planning toolsply with relevant regulatory, legislative and internal requirements.
7. Supporting the development of a data‑driven finance function, ensuring planning processes are efficient, consistent and well‑controlled.
Stakeholder Engagement
8. Working closely with senior leaders, operational managers and cross‑functional teams.
9. Providing financial guidance, business partnering support and strategic insight across the organisation.
10. Deputising for the Director of Finance where required.
What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will bring:
11. A recognised, fully‑qualified accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent).
12. Strong experience in financial planning & analysis, business modelling and long‑term forecasting.
13. Excellent Excel and modelling skills, with the ability to develop and refineplex financial models.
14. Strongmunication skills and the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
15. A proactive mindset, with the ability to streamline processes and improve financial insight quality.
