About the role
This Finance Manager position sits within the Financial Accounting and Compliance team and plays a central role in delivering accurate financial reporting, statutory returns, and capital monitoring. You'll lead on the annual accounts closure programme, support capital budgeting, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements.
What we're looking for
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent)
Strong technical accounting skills, ideally with experience in public sector finance
Confident communicator with the ability to work independently and influence stakeholders
Experience with capital accounting, statutory reporting, and audit processes
