Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a BAND 6 OT within our HARP Post Viral Team based at the Lister centre UHC

This post is offered on a fixed term/secondment basis until 31/3/2027

From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.

UK Driving Licence

A UK driving licence is essential for this role.

What You Will Do

Assess and treat people affected by post viral syndromes, cardiac issues and multimorbidity, assisting them to maximise their physical, social and emotional wellbeing within the limitations of their conditions.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required For This Post

Ability to undertake advanced occupational therapy assessments of patients with diverse and complex conditions.
A broad range of clinical experience to include, ideally, post viral syndromes, as well as experience of mental health issues that can co-exist alongside physical health conditions.
Ability to develop and deliver individualised treatment programmes which meet service user outcomes
Multi-disciplinary Team working across health, social, and 3rd sectors
Up to date on professional practice and research
Ability to organise, prioritise and delegate
