Class 1 Driver - Birtley (Temp to Perm)
£15.00-£22.50 per hour | Monday-Friday | No Weekends
Our client based in Birtley has recently secured a prestigious new contract and is looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to support increased demand.
Job Details
* Mostly Class 2 work, with some Class 1 driver work
* Palletised deliveries
* Multidrop work (approximately 8-10 drops per shift)
* Tail-lift deliveries using a pump truck
* North East deliveries to regular, repeat destinations
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday
* 07:00 start time
* No weekend work
Pay
* £15.00 per hour (first 8 hours, PAYE)
* £22.50 per hour (after 8 hours, PAYE)
* Holiday accrued separately (not rolled into pay)
* Temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate
Driver Requirements
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Valid CPC
* Valid Digi-tachograph card
* Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience for insurance purposes
* Good knowledge of the North East preferred
* Reliable and professional approach
