Step 3 Clinical CBT Supervisor - NHS Talking Therapies Suffolk
Wellbeing Suffolk service is an NHS Talking Therapies programme, providing primary care assessment, advice and psychological interventions to people in Suffolk, who want help with common mental health problems of anxiety and low mood. Interventions are delivered both face to face and remotely through telephone and video call.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Step 3 Clinical Supervisor with extensive experience of delivering CBT, to join our team. The post holder will be responsible for providing clinical supervision (including case management) to Step 3 clinicians, ensuring supervisees work safely and professionally, adhering to NICE guidelines and professional/service guidance.
Applicants must hold full accreditation with the BABCP and will have experience of offering clinical supervision to other therapists.
This is a permanent position. The service has sites in Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich. There will be an expectation of both working from service sites and home working.
Responsibilities
* Assist the clinical leadership team in supporting and developing the High Intensity part of the service and helping the service achieve its required key performance indicators.
* Be responsible for your own, small caseload. Provide assessment and treatment for people presenting with common mental health problems, within the NHS Talking Therapies framework.
* Support a partnership between Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT) and third sector providers; deliver a bio-psychosocial model including psychological, employment and social interventions; treatments delivered face to face, by telephone or MS Teams video call and online via webinars.
Qualifications
* Professional qualification and registration in a recognised mental health profession
* BABCP accreditation as a CBT/Therapist (may have been gained following successful completion of High Intensity Therapist Training)
* IAPT Supervision qualification (Desirable)
