Adult Accommodation and Support provide support to people in their own homes across Fife.
* Supporting adults with learning disabilities within their own homes and to access their local community.
* This role includes day shifts, late shifts, sleepovers, and night shifts. All applicants must be able to work all shift patterns. This may be in a shared tenancy or on a one-to-one basis where successful applicants will be lone working.
* Successful applicants will be provided with all necessary training such as Moving and Handling, Dysphagia, and CALM where required.
The Person
Must have or be willing to achieve, within the first period of registration, the Social Services and Healthcare SCQF level 5 (equivalent to SVQ2) or equivalent to meet Scottish Social Services Council registration.
Communication skills, organisational skills, ability to manage and prioritise workload, ability to work with minimal supervision, team working skills, literacy skills, and basic IT skills.
Ability to provide support to individuals with personal care needs, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, and cleaning. Also, ability to undertake physical tasks, e.g., being able to comfortably kneel on beds and floors and to rise without difficulty.
