Had Fab Ltd is looking for an experienced Yard and Logistics Manager to lead operations across our busy yard. You’ll manage people, processes, and performance – ensuring materials flow efficiently, safely, and on time.
The Role
You’ll oversee yard operations, stock control, dispatch, and deliveries. Working closely with the Manufacturing Manager, you’ll plan resources, manage capacity, and drive continuous improvement to keep production moving smoothly.
What You’ll Do
• Lead and develop the yard team to meet safety and productivity goals
• Plan daily activities and optimise storage and material flow
• Oversee galvanising control, dispatch, and inventory accuracy
• Identify and implement lean improvements
• Support ERP/MRP integration and StruMIS use
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and communication
About You
• Proven experience in yard and logistics management, ideally within manufacturing or engineering
• Strong understanding of material handling, stock, and delivery processes
• Skilled leader and organiser with a hands-on, proactive approach
