Overview
Registered Nurse managing and delivering care to a defined caseload/group of clients/patients; responsible for delivering the application of the Nursing Process and use of case management as appropriate, to ensure a high standard of quality client/patient care. The charge nurse has delegated responsibility for appraisal, management and clinical supervision of Registered Nurses, junior practitioners and clinical support workers in provision of care and treatment within a defined clinical service, under the management and leadership of the team leader/senior charge nurse or practitioner.
Location
This role will be based in Community Addiction Recovery Services (CAReS) within Carluke Community Health Centre, NHS Lanarkshire.

What you’ll need to bring
* Registered Nurse with valid UK NMC Registration
* Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level
* Postgraduate expertise within the specialty to lead safety and service delivery
* Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the specialty
* Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures
* Leadership skills to enable day-to-day management of service delivery
* Evidence of Continuous Professional Development in the area of specialty
* Excellent team-working, leadership, motivation and initiative
* Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills
* Effective time management
* Working knowledge of basic information technology
Responsibilities
* Manage and deliver care to a defined caseload in partnership with other disciplines and agencies
* Lead appraisal, management and clinical supervision of staff within the defined service
* Contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care within the Nursing Process framework
