Looking for something different? This is a unique opportunity to work in a fantastic department at The College of West Anglia. We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Technology faculty and we have a new role available.


Job Title

LECTURER FOR DESIGN, SURVEYING AND PLANNING IN CONSTRUCTION

Hours

18.5 PER WEEK (over 3 days, exact days to be agreed with the successful postholder)


Salary

£15,952 - £20,116 (£31,904 - £40,233 FTE)

We are presently in search of an experienced Construction Technical & Professional lecturer. The successful candidate must hold a minimum of a level 4 qualification in Construction HNC/HND or Level 4 NVQ in management with the intention to deliver on the Level 3 T level in surveying planning & design.

The preferred candidate should possess a background in site surveying /setting out, Quantity surveying or site supervision roles within the construction industry.

Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 12 or above (£37,454 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.

We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Technology team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength. We offer an incredible training package and a chance to work within tight knit and supportive teams.
