Salary: £38,881 per annum
Working Pattern: Day Crewing, Weekday Plus and 2-2-4 Shift System (42 hours per week)
Locations: Various stations across Derbyshire

In line with workforce planning an initial cohort of transfer Firefighters will commence this summer. A list will then be held for future requirements in line with workforce planning which will compliment other methods of recruitment.
Essential Requirements
To be considered, applicants must:
Be a permanent, competent wholetime firefighter currently employed within a UK Fire & Rescue Service
Have a Full UK Manual Car Driving Licence
Be able to pass a swimming test (continuous swim of at least 100 metres unaided followed by 1 minute of treading water)
Confirm flexibility to work across duty systems
Provide evidence of competency status.
Provide evidence additional qualifications within the application, such as:
Emergency Response Driving (ERD)
Swift Water Rescue (Mod 3)
Boat Operator (Mod 4)
Safe Working at Height
Wildfire qualifications
Aerial
Priority may be given to candidates with specific qualifications in line with Service requirements.

Due to the sensitive nature of the duties that the postholder will be expected to undertake, an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) will be requested for the successful applicant.
