The Opportunity
We are recruiting a committed Key Stage 1 Teacher for a friendly and inclusive primary school in Southport. This long-term role offers the chance to make a real impact on pupils’ early education while benefiting from consistent work until July 2026.
Main Duties
* Full responsibility for a KS1 classroom
* Planning creative and structured lessons aligned with the curriculum
* Supporting early reading, writing and numeracy development
* Monitoring attainment and adapting teaching strategies
* Upholding safeguarding and school policies at all times
Essential Criteria
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching KS1 within a UK primary school
* Strong classroom management skills
* A nurturing and enthusiastic teaching style

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
