As an Administrator within our service, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the office, ensuring that colleagues, service users and external partners receive a professional and responsive service at all times.

What your day could look like
You will provide full administrative and financial support to the service, working closely with the Service Manager and wider team. This is a varied and responsible role where you will manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing day-to-day financial processes including invoices, petty cash, expenses and reconciliations
2. Monitoring budgets and providing regular updates to the Service Manager
3. Recording income and expenditure in line with financial procedures
4. Supporting payroll processes including timesheets and deadlines
5. Handling service user finances, including personal allowances and payments
6. Providing general administrative support including filing, correspondence and document preparation
7. Organising meetings, managing diaries and taking minutes where required
8. Supporting recruitment processes including arranging interviews and issuing application packs
9. Acting as a first point of contact for enquiries, providing a professional reception service when required
10. Maintaining accurate employee and service user records
11. Managing stock, ordering supplies and supporting the day-to-day running of the office
About you
You will be organised, reliable and confident in managing a varied workload within a busy service environment. You will have experience working with financial information and be comfortable handling tasks such as invoices, reconciliations and basic budget monitoring. You will be confident using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook, with strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills. You will be able to work on your own initiative, manage deadlines effectively and communicate clearly with colleagues, service users and external partners. A professional, approachable and friendly manner is essential.
