Community Mental Health Teams support people of working age who have severe mental health needs, who may have behaviours that challenge and have associated complex needs.
Main duties of the job
This role is working as a support worker in the Assertive Outreach team which is part of the Community Mental health team. It involves working as part of the multidisciplinary team and providing support on both an individual and group basis to individuals experiencing mental health problems to enable them to achieve their full potential through accessing resources available within their wider communities and equipping them with the skills and confidence to manage their lives independently. Community Mental Health Teams are friendly teams that work with people of working age who have a moderate to severe mental disorders, who may present with behaviours that challenge and have associated complex needs. We provide a safe treatment service for males and females in the community.
