The Digital Content & Storytelling Specialist will produce and manage high-quality content that communicates our work, impact, and insights across digital platforms, bridging data science and digital communication.
Content Creation & Storytelling
* Create accessible narratives from complex data and insights
* Develop blog posts, articles, whitepapers, reports, and case studies with experts
* Establish Smart Data Foundry as an industry leader through thought leadership content
* Craft copy for social media, newsletters, and campaigns
* Create visual assets using tools like Canva
Content Distribution
* Plan and publish content across channels including website, blog, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and email
* Collaborate with marketing to identify content opportunities
* Tailor content for each platform and optimize for engagement
* Develop and test content strategies to maximize ROI
* Monitor and report on content performance
Brand & Message Consistency
* Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity
* Ensure accuracy, clarity, and relevance of content
Collaboration & Internal Communication
* Work with data science, engagement, and product teams to shape stories
* Coordinate with design, comms, and marketing teams
* Support content strategy development and execution
Audience Engagement & Growth
* Refine content strategy based on digital trends and audience behaviour
* Test new content formats to enhance storytelling
SEO & Accessibility
* Apply SEO best practices
* Ensure content meets accessibility standards
Qualifications include proven experience in content creation, storytelling, or digital marketing, strong writing skills, ability to interpret data, experience managing social media, SEO knowledge, and proficiency with digital tools like Canva, HubSpot, CMS, and data visualization tools. Excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and a personable approach are essential.
