We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Business Partner to lead the UK finance function. This role works closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, ensure compliance and support business growth.

About the Role
You will take ownership of all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and delivering valuable financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, budgeting and cash management
* Prepare financial statements in line with UK GAAP and IFRS
* Lead month-end and year-end closing processes (liaising with outsourced Accountants)
* Ensure compliance with UK tax, VAT and statutory requirements
* Manage transfer pricing policies and intercompany transactions
* Support tax planning and liaise with external advisors
* Coordinate audits and work with auditors and regulatory bodies
* Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
* Monitor cash flow and financial performance
* Strengthen internal controls and financial procedures
* Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
About You
Qualifications:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
* Ideally at least AAT qualified (full or part CIMA advantageous)
Experience:
* Minimum 5 years in progressive finance roles
* Experience with UK statutory reporting and auditsProven leadership or management experience
* Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
* Experience with transfer pricing and cross-border structures (advantageous)
