Credit Controller/Sales Ledger
Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are working with a growing SME in the Newark area to recruit an experienced Credit Controller with strong sales ledger skills for a newly created role following restructuring. Your new role Reporting to the Finance Manager, working in a small team, you will be responsible for the full sales ledger process from invoicing to reconciliation and cash allocation, chasing overdue payments, managing credit risk, aged debtor reporting and supporting cash flow forecasting as well as working widely with stakeholders to resolve queries and disputes. What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced Credit Controller used to managing a portfolio of accounts, sales ledger invoicing, credit control, and cash collection while building strong customer relationships. You will have strong communication skills, IT capabilities, including Excel and be used to working as part of a team but also on your own initiative. You will be living in a close commute to the Newark area as the role is predominantly office-based (possibly 1 day working from home a week).
