Operational

o Ensure critical assets are in full working order, achieving relevant KPI's
o Be the Client's main point of contact for all operational critical-related activities
o Ensure PPM's related to critical assets are scheduled and approved in advance of works, achieving relevant KPI's
o Provide Technical Support for critical Engineers
o Ensure critical shifts are scheduled and communicated in advance
o Form part of an escalation process for incidents, provide alternating 1st line out of hours escalation with the critical Supervisor
o Be prepared to support critical shift rota duties in the event of sickness absence, training, annual leave, when necessary to ensure 24/7/52 operations.
Main Duties
Complete capacity reports involving analyzing data to identify areas where asset efficiency can be improved, and these findings are then discussed with the client. Incident reports, ensure that incidents are documented in alignment with KPIs, satisfactorily closed out, and accompanied by appropriate corrective actions. When managing change controls, it is vital to raise them with 100% accuracy, representing the changes effectively to gain works approval. Weekly reports require tracking relevant information and submitting the completed report with accurate details, ensuring compliance with KPIs. In terms of areas of development, establish a regime of scenario training with the team, address gaps in business continuity planning by implementing effective resolution plans, and identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience in a similar role within a Data Centre or similar critical environment with a proven track record in the effective management of planned programme of works and reactive works coordinating multi skilled work groups
* Previous experience of having been appointed as an Authorised Person for HV/LV systems
* Excellent people management skills while able to manage sub-contractors and supply chain
* Fully conversant with current H&S legislation and process management systems
* Understanding of asset management information systems together with remote monitoring integrated technology
* Holder of a full and valid driving licence
* Qualified electrical and/or mechanical engineer (BS7671 qualified, City & Guilds Engr, ONC, Building Services, etc..) or equivalent
* IT literate in MS Office
