Hours: hours per week (8pm – 8am), including some weekends

⭐ Key Responsibilities for a Senior Care Assistant (Nights)
As a Senior Care Assistant (Nights), you will help lead the care team and ensure residents receive exceptional support throughout the night. Your duties include:
11. Providing high‑quality personal care
12. Following safe Moving & Handling practices
13. Maintaining Infection Control, Safeguarding, First Aid and DoLS standards
14. Administering medication safely and accurately
15. Completing essential documentation:
16. Daily logs
17. MAR / TMAR charts
18. Food & fluid charts
19. Bowel movement records
20. Body maps
21. Leading and supporting the night care team
22. Ensuring the smooth and safe running of the night shift

We are seeking someone compassionate, reliable and confident in delivering excellent care.
You should have:
23. Experience working in a care setting
24. Strong communication and teamwork skills
25. A caring, professional attitude
26. Confidence supporting colleagues during a shift
Ideal qualifications:
27. NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum)
28. Working towards NVQ Level 3 or willing to progress
