* Role: Lead Playworker Before and After School / Holiday Camps
* Location: Leeds
* Job Type: Part Time / Split Shift
* Hours: Mon Fri, 7:15am-9:00am & 3:00pm 6:00pm
* Pay: GBP13.69 - GBP14 Per Hour
* Start Date: Immediate

Provide Education is seeking a dedicated and professional Lead Playworker to support our partner school in Leeds. The successful candidate will assist the Extended Services Manager in delivering high-quality childcare within a positive, safe, and engaging environment for pupils. Additionally, the Lead Playworker will deputise in the absence of the Extended Services Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in planning and implementing a variety of activities to support children's development.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils.
* Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks in line with hygiene standards.
* Act as the primary point of contact for parents and staff during service delivery.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety procedures.
* Supervise and mentor placements/volunteers, ensuring proper documentation and training.
* Maintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding standards.
* Support the Extended Services Manager with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

* Level 3 NVQ or above in a relevant discipline (e.g. childcare)
* Current first aid certification
* Experience of working with children aged 3-11
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience of working in a supervisory position
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Knowledge of child protection and health and safety procedures
* Competent in using ICT to support administration
