Denbies Wine Estate, one of England largest vineyards is currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chefs to support our Executive Head Chef in overseeing the Conservatory Restaurant & Banqueting production kitchen.
From private parties, weddings, conferences, and day to day lunchtime restaurant operations. You will be a key player in managing the day to day operation along with assuming direct management over the brigade of chefs, kitchen assistants and porters.
* You will be creative, innovative and responsible for all sections of the main kitchen and keep standards high throughout
* You will be required to lead the team by example and demonstrate excellent people management skills in a busy and diverse environment
* You will ensure food is prepared and served to the correct specifications, standards and time frames
* Excellent resource management will be required to ensure all purchasing and stock control protocols are adhered to
Previous Sous Chef experience is required in Banqueting & Restaurants.
This is a Full-Time position working five days out of seven, including weekends, and evenings on a 40-hour contract per week.
