We are currently working in partnership with an award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy firm based in Cheltenham, who are looking to appoint a Fire Risk Assessor on a contract lasting circa four months.
This is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The rate for this role is £80 per assessment with up to six expected per day.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Completing Type 3 fire risk assessments
2. Drawing up reports and responding to ad-hoc fire queries
3. Evaluating current fire risk assessments and gauging existing levels of risk
4. Suggesting procedures to manage risk where necessary, including in situations where risk is elevated and a temporary solution might be required
5. Maintaining regular contact with the Fire Risk Assessment Manager to deliver assessments in accordance with current legislation and fire safety standards
Experience required:
6. Qualified Fire Risk Assessor on the IFE Register status
7. Membership of either IFSM or IFE or equivalent
