About the role
Step into a supported rotational role designed to get you from Band 5 to Band 6 in just 18 months. Grow your skills with structured supervision, personal development goals and hands‑on experience away from NHS pressures on the beautiful Isle of Man.
In this role you will rotate through various clinical areas, including orthopaedics and surgery, medical, rehabilitation, stroke, children’s therapy and adult community therapies. You will work with manageable caseloads that allow you more time with patients to develop therapeutic relationships and apply new skills.
Responsibilities
* Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions across acute, rehabilitation, and community settings.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver person‑centred care plans.
* Document clinical work and progress accurately in the electronic patient record system.
* Participate in structured supervision and continuous professional development activities.
* Maintain up‑to‑date HCPC registration and adhere to professional and ethical standards.
What You Need
* Recently qualified or close to qualifying as an Occupational Therapist.
* HCPC registered or registration pending.
* Experience in an acute setting from student clinical placements.
* A full UK/IOM driving licence.
