We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Psychologist / Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our well-established Rehabilitation Service. It is a fantastic time to join the senior leadership team as we launch an enhanced Community Rehabilitation service in North Kent.
You will have experience in interventions for complex psychosis, support MDT colleagues with risk management, and have training in psychological interventions. We are happy to receive applications from recently qualified Trainee Clinical Psychologists for a Band 7/8a preceptorship role. The successful candidate may start on Band 7 with a development plan to progress to Band 8a. Please refer to the Band 7 & 8a job description and person specification.
The role requires experience in psychological interventions for complex psychosis, supervision of practitioners, facilitating reflective practice, and teaching psychological approaches in multidisciplinary teams. Clinically, experience in delivering high-quality assessments and bespoke interventions for individuals in distress related to severe mental health issues, especially psychosis with co-morbid conditions such as ASD, substance misuse, or physical health issues, is essential.
You will have opportunities to develop your practice while supporting the team in providing high-quality services and working with partners to deliver effective care.
The post holder must hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for business purposes unless exempt due to a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
