We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs across schools in Doncaster, with opportunities to travel to Rotherham and Barnsley.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties
Support pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them reach their full potential
Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored support strategies
Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to travel to schools across Doncaster, Rotherham, and Barnsley
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
