Teaching Personnel are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist further education provision for students aged 16–19 with Moderate, Severe, and Complex Learning Difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs. Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Supporting students in their academic and personal development. Promoting positive behaviour and social skills. Collaborating with teaching staff and external professionals. About the Provision: This specialist further education provision caters to young people with Moderate, Severe, and Complex Learning Difficulties and is recognised for outstanding standards of education and care. It is a designated specialist provision for cognition and learning, offering a nurturing environment tailored to individual needs. What We’re Looking For: We are looking for individuals who: Have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Are patient, empathetic, and adaptable. Hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential). Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
