As a Consultant Breast Surgeon, your responsibilities will include: Providing expert clinical input within the symptomatic breast clinic, assessing and managing new and follow‑up patients Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and patient‑centred care Leading and supporting the surgical phase of treatment for patients with breast cancer Contributing to the smooth running of clinical areas and undertaking the associated administrative duties required to deliver an efficient service The post will be based entirely at the RUH Breast Unit, offering a focused and well‑supported environment for specialist practice. Administrative Duties Consultants are expected to undertake the administrative responsibilities associated with patient care and the efficient operation of their clinical areas. This includes maintaining accurate documentation, timely communication and contributing to service governance where required.
