Here at the Willow Tree Federation in Lancaster we are looking for an apprentice to support the ethos of our school and support our children's to fulfil their potential as an apprentice Teaching Assistant 3 at Willow Lane Community Primary School.

The Role:

* As an apprentice, you will be working full time at Willow Lane Community Primary School. The role will be as a Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship. You will be employed for 30 hours for two years (2 year course).
* Training is provided and this will take up 20% of these hours (one day). The role will involve supporting the class teacher and working with a child with a physical impairment

Essential Qualifications

Maths and English Grade C/4 or above (desirable- you will have to have this by the time you qualify to work in Early Years)

Desirable Qualifications

* Moving and Handling training
* First aid training

Essential Experience

* A willingness to undertake relevant qualifications in the future (preferred).
Ability to develop relationships and communication with parents and carers

Desirable Experience

* An understanding of child safeguarding.
Understanding of SEND and Inclusion
