We're looking for a Business Development Manager who can challenge thinking, create demand, and close deals.
What you’ll actually do
* Own the growth agenda: develop a BD strategy that targets ideal clients – then execute it.
* Qualify and convert high-potential leads into long-term accounts.
* Develop tailored proposals that reframe client problems and showcase measurable outcomes.
* Partner with compliance SMEs to commercialise IP and co-create new propositions.
* Build board-level trust across financial services and fintech.
* Shape marketing messages, contribute to thought leadership, and represent us at industry events.
* Track KPIs, pipeline velocity, and deal health using CRM discipline.
* You should apply if
* You’ve spent 5+ years in BD roles within UK regulatory compliance, and you’ve outperformed.
* You know the language of FCA, PRA, SMCR, MiFID, AML – and how to make it commercial.
* You challenge status quo thinking and reframe how clients see their compliance strategy.
* You hold a QCF Level 4 qualification (e.g. ICA, CISI, DipFA) – or higher.
* Your network includes decision-makers who trust you.
* You can prove a track record of £250k+ annual revenue from consultative sales.

* £35,000–£70,000 base, OTE £80,000–£110,000+
