Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Payments Assistant to join a busy finance team within a local authority. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and financial processing skills to support the delivery of accurate and efficient payment services. This is a temporary contract for 3 months with a view to extend, working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring supplier invoices and employee expense claims are processed and paid in a timely and accurate manner, supporting the effective operation of the Council’s finance systems.
