What we’re looking for:
You will join our spa therapist team on a 32‑hour a week contract. You must be presentable, professional and upbeat, with a high level of detail orientation to maintain the 5‑star spa environment and the ability to multitask. Previous experience within a hotel spa therapist position is ideal.
Day in the life of:
Spa attendants are the frontline employees of the spa industry. They provide guests with an exceptional experience while they relax, unwind and treat themselves to a variety of services. The position includes shift work over weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first‑class treatment and service.
* Recommend treatments and retail to guests as per their needs, ethically.
* Meet and sometimes exceed personal and professional targets set by the Head Therapist or Spa Manager on a weekly/monthly basis.
* Effectively manage time, prioritising tasks and guests to ensure all jobs are completed.
* Attend training sessions where necessary.
* Adapt duties and/or role to cover the needs of the business in the event of sickness or short staffing.
* Ensure guest service satisfaction to a high standard.
* Work alongside other colleagues to keep the spa operating smoothly.
* Deliver high customer service, ensuring every guest is treated professionally and concerns are understood.
* Maintain 5‑star standards throughout the spa, managing clean‑down, set‑up and care of items, and using all check sheets.
* Report all maintenance requests or defects to the Senior Spa Attendant or Spa Manager.
* Conduct inventory, check product usage and stock levels.
* Order stock in a timely manner to keep the spa well‑equipped within budget constraints.
* Work within health and safety policies and procedures.
* Use and store all items hygienically.
* Ensure changing rooms, thermal and spa lounge are maintained and restocked throughout the day.
