The Role
As a Senior Talent Intelligence Consultant, you will lead and deliver sophisticated research and insights projects for our clients across sectors, with a strong emphasis on financial services as a part of the Global Talent Intelligence & Insights Centre of Excellence. You'll act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and clients, using data and storytelling to unlock smarter recruitment decisions.
Key Accountabilities
Things you'll do:
Trusted advisor and partner
* Build strong, trusted relationships with recruiters, business leaders, and client stakeholders across global accounts.
* Proactively understand sourcing and hiring needs to shape insight projects that drive meaningful outcomes.
* Translate complex data into practical recommendations, influencing strategic decisions in talent acquisition.
* Act as Talent Intelligence Subject Matter Expert for stakeholders on best practices, project scoping, and how to effectively leverage insights in sourcing and workforce planning.
Insight & Research Delivery
* Design and lead talent intelligence projects (both strategic and volume-based), drawing on internal tools and external sources.
* Stay ahead of global market trends, including labor supply/demand shifts, compensation benchmarks, competitor activity, and evolving skill landscapes.
* Deliver accurate, timely, and visually engaging insight reports with a compelling narrative and actionable recommendations.
* Field follow-up questions and provide evidence-based support to clarify findings and influence recruitment actions.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
* Monitor industry innovations, competitor approaches, and technology advancements to evolve AMS' insights offering.
* Explore and recommend new tools, platforms, and methodologies to enhance delivery efficiency and impact.
* Contribute to evolving the Insights CoE's methodology and services to meet emerging business needs.
Team Leadership & Knowledge Sharing
* Mentor and coach junior team members by sharing expertise, frameworks, and feedback to strengthen delivery quality.
* Deliver training sessions to upskill teammates and promote a data-driven mindset across the broader team.
* Participate in hiring processes, leadership meetings, and business reviews to help shape the future of the team.
* Champion the insights discipline internally through presentations, community engagement, and thought leadership.
Skills & Experience
You'll need to demonstrate:
Must-Haves
* Proven experience in talent research, market insights, workforce intelligence, or a similar role within talent acquisition or consulting.
* Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to interpret, synthesize, and present both qualitative and quantitative data.
* Excellent data storytelling and report writing abilities-clear narrative, compelling visuals, and practical recommendations.
* High proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and search engines; experience with LinkedIn Talent Insights, Talent Neuron or similar platforms.
* Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
Nice-to-Haves
* Experience in the financial services or investment banking sector.
* Familiarity with advanced talent tools like SeekOut or other AI-enabled sourcing platforms.
* Capability in conducting complex Boolean searches and competitive intelligence gathering.
