The closing date is 29 June 2025

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Senior Information Analyst to join the Digital and Health Intelligence (D&HI) department at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

This role will do amazing things with data from our electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (ePMA) system we are currently implementing. You'll be part of a small friendly team constantly helping and sharing with each other that contributes to increasing better patient outcomes.

You'll become an expert in ePMA data and collaborate with those who want to use ePMA data and with your team members on AI machine learning python projects such as predicting which drugs a patient will need in hospital, who are the patients consuming the most drugs and forecasting drug usage and costs.

This post is fixed term/secondment until 31st March 2026, due to funding. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
